Rural NL and Low Income Families Tutoring Support

You can be located anywhere in the province yet your kids could access our tutoring programs online right from the comfort of your home and receive financial assistance!

LDANL has been providing one-on-one specialized tutoring programs in Reading (the Barton System) and Math to students with Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia) for ten years at our office. Since 2020 we have been offering the tutoring programs remotely as well and this enables us to reach out across the province.

The prevalence of Learning Disabilities among K-12 children in our schools is very high. According to the Premier’s Task Force on Improving Educational Outcomes (2017), at least 51% of students with exceptionalities in this province have specific learning disabilities (SLD), constituting 18% of the full student population, despite there being long wait lists to get diagnosed.

There are many K-12 students across the province who require support with Reading and Math and  did not have access to our tutoring programs in the past. Through the generosity of the Northpine Foundation and Patten Family Foundation, we are now able to bring our tutoring programs to the rural and remote areas of the province and provide financial assistance to those who require it.

Please request financial assistance only if you really require it so that together we can support those in real need.
